Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil
I hold a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA – Brazil) and currently serve as an Associate Professor at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR – Brazil), in the Department of Mathematics, where I engage in both research and teaching activities. My research lies at the intersection of Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Computational Science. I am particularly interested in the understanding, design, control, and optimization of nonlinear systems. To address problems in nonlinear dynamics, I employ a combination of analytical and computational techniques. My work focuses on both the quantitative modeling and qualitative analysis of nonlinear systems, aiming to extract nontrivial insights into their behavior. These insights contribute to the design of more efficient engineering systems, performance optimization, and the development of advanced control strategies. I am also a member of the Committee on Nonlinear and Chaotic Phenomena of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering (ABCM).
